VISIT THE NEW WEBSITE!
For the last 3 months I've been working on a completely revamped website. It uses many new technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3. I now have an even easier way of uploaded new content, some of which is presented in all of its lightbox glory! I still haven't quite finished adding content to the Sketches app, so I shall do so sometime in the future just for completeness.So what are you waiting for?! Yet another long wait for an update!
I have just released Sketches to the public. Sketches is an application to display yet more images, but this time, drawings rather than finished images.
I built Sketches to experiment with a different kind of user interface, rather than the simple 'slideshow' style implementation seen in my Uni portfolio and the Image Viewer. Let me know what you think! :)
Sketches is still in beta so it may still be slightly buggy for some users. If you experience any bugs, please let me know on the Contact page.
Long time no update!
Well now that exams are finished I can finally get on with all my projects.
I'm currently in the midst of developing the Body Language Cheat Sheet app, that gives users quick access to body language signals. I should be releasing the Flash version this summer (I hope!) and then get started on porting it for other devices.
I should also have the Sketches app finished VERY soon. I had an epiphany a few weeks back that made me realise that the way I was structuring it was terrible and long-winded. You can track the progress of both of these apps on the Journal page.
Upon doing so, you may realise that there is a new menu - woo hoo!
What with the site getting bigger, I felt the pages needed to be separated out. This will occur over the next few updates.
On Tuesday I added some Facebook API to the site, as you can see to the right.
Clicking the Like button adds a little post to your profile saying that you have liked the site, and your name and display picture will appear to the right. It's a good way to see which of your friends have already liked the site.
I have also created a Facebook Page where you will be kept up-to-date with any new content that is added to the site. So get joining!
I will soon by integrating the Facebook page with this site too, so you will be able to see who has already joined.
UPDATE: Facebook page API has now been integrated (see right).
So I've just got the Ads and Scores working on AlphaSpeed thanks to MochiMedia.
So play the game will ya! Try beat my score ;)
The ImageViewer is up and running. It will be constantly updated with new Flash drawings, 3D models and photos. Check it out, it's on the Portfolio page!
